Out and About in London

Wandering around London always yields up something interesting, to be sure. One night on my way out to go swing dancing with a friend, we wandered past this lovely barber shop. :)

Another night saw me out to an evening within sight of the shard, at a most interesting pub.

One with has been around since 1677. It was cozy and tiny and very much worth a visit!

When plays were still difficult to put on, an inn like this would host the audience on the ground and in the balconies, and the players would preform on a wagon or the like before them.

Tasty tea break!

Shoreditch, too, has a lovely variety of street art scattered about.

Bridge!

This was the best door I saw all night.

It's a bit difficult to see, but this little shop looked so fresh and bright, like something straight out of a movie set in Paris.

I take it back, the lock door was pretty cool, but I think -this- was actually an even better door. Such artistry!

I even found an owl!

This fence was so near as well! An ordinary chain link fence became something much more beautiful with the addition of a bit of wire. (And someone with a fantastic artistic vision.)

Shoreditch is definitely worth another wander when time permits! Even if only to stare at the art. Hope all is well!
