The Present As It Stands

Up until now I have been using this blog primarily as a means of letting my mother know I was still alive while traveling. And to help keep my pictures organized. But while lounging around with friends this afternoon, I was thinking it might be fun to keep it updated other times of the year, since there are some exciting things coming up that I am definitely looking forward to. And Facebook just isn't quite the same sort of documentary experience.

So updates! Since my last adventure, I have graduated with my Classical Archaeology masters degree, and found a couple jobs - one of which is in a conservation lab! - to build up a bit of money and hold me over until I return to school. As much as I enjoy archaeology, I have decided to go to school one more time for archaeological conservation. I will be moving over seas to study somewhere in the UK in September - the location to be determined in the hopefully near future. I am definitely looking forward to it, so here's to hoping all goes well until then!
